LIANA IN CONFLICT

Before turning fully to Kerzner’s conflict with Asher and the manner in which she has portrayed that exchange—and all subsequent exchanges—it is necessary to provide additional context. In the sections that follow, I will explain the actual reasons behind many of my actions, as well as those of my husband, which differ substantially from the explanations Kerzner has offered to her audience. As noted previously, a recurring feature of Kerzner’s approach in conflicts is the appropriation and rewriting of other people’s narrative voice. She routinely substitutes her own interpretations of motive and internal state for the explanations offered by others, and presents those interpretations with stated certainty rather than as speculation or opinion.

This is not me verging into hyperbole or exaggeration, but rather I believe it is something I can prove to be a verifiable pattern, observable across multiple instances, though rarely as explicit as in the following statements made on her YouTube and radio programs. These examples are particularly relevant given that Kerzner positions herself publicly as a mental health advocate, an opponent of mental health stigma, and an affordable alternative to therapy.

"I know the people cyberstalking me. All the nasty shit they claim about me is just projection and deflection. Every time they do it, I see the inside of their own mind and it is an awful place. And they are so deeply in denial about where the source of their unhappiness is because it's of the daddy didn't really love you variety, you know, or mommy didn't really love you or no, you weren't really popular as a kid. And none of this really matters in the grand scheme of things, but that's their work to do."

"This is me taking responsibility for my part in the bad blood. I let it I let it go on too soon. Right. Do the stalkers resent me for saying this in public. I get nasty grams telling me I deserve the Charlie Kirk treatment for saying stuff like this. But you know that's that's some res—woo. That— that is resentment. Peak choice burning resentment. And you know what? Better they feel it than me. That resentment that's eating up their already blackened insides. Not mine. My soul is juicy. [Cackles] Never mind."

DISCLOSURE

It is not my desire to enmesh Gail Simone, or any of the people discussed here, in any lengthy feuds or cause them further distress. If I could present my evidence  without disclosing a transcript of what undoubtedly must have been troubling and upsetting events, I would do so. Unfortunately, I cannot simply report on them, as Kerzner will —once again— accuse me of lying, or of talking about something 'that never happened,' but rather I must, by necessity, also provide documentation where available.

I need to reiterate, once again,  that  these disclosures are only happening because of the actions that Liana Kerzner has chosen to undertake . It is her lack of truthful portrayal of events, the traumatizing of my husband for over sixteen months, the assassination of my professional character,  and the subsequent legal intimidation she has subjected us to when we began to speak up that makes these disclosures necessary. The only defense against a sustained smear campaign, and the threats that perpetuate it, is the truth.

It is Kerzner's actions themselves that have placed me in a situation where I must opt to speak up against the injustices and indignities that Kerzner has perpetuated against us, or remain silent to avoid her threats and thus allow our silence to be read as a tacit confirmation of the veracity of her accounts.  Because of this, it is important to demonstrate a pervasive and persistent pattern of behavior that has been at work for a decade— maybe more — in regards to Kerzner and how she portrays every personal and professional break she has had to her audience.

I have not contacted any of the people involved here with intent to collect information or obtain statements . In every occasion, my own documentation was sufficient to provide all of the pertinent information— which only started to come together after witnessing  one specific event, which will be detailed further ahead.

What follows are several direct experiences I have had with Liana Kerzner in conflict, how she portrayed that conflict at the time, and how recent experiences or new information have significantly altered my perspective of each situation and aligned them closer to what I am confident is a more accurate retelling of each incident.
